13 Aug Mary Voigt named Unison Bank Artist of the Month
Unison Bank announced Mary Voigt as its featured artist for August 2024.
Each month, Unison Bank features local artists, photographers, quilters and creators and their products or services. Since 2013, they have featured 117 artisans.
August’s featured artist, Mary Voigt, has displayed a variety of her works within the lobby of Unison Bank in Jamestown, N.D. – including photographs, digital artwork and printed towels of her work.
Voigt has been doing photography since high school and has been a professional photographer for 25 years.
“Photography has taught me leadership, confidence and having a work ethic, but my favorite thing about photography is how my work impacts my customers. The best award is capturing memories that will last a lifetime for them,” said Voigt.
When asked what inspires her, Voigt shared “I would get bored of just doing one type of photography, so I like to do it all. And through those different types – family, kids, newborn, sports, seniors, wedding, real estate, landscape, etc. – I have met so many wonderful customers who have become best friends…Keeping my customers happy and coming back to me keeps me inspired and allows me to continue doing what I love.”
