Uinsurance Agency, LLC., a leading provider of insurance solutions in the community, is announcing the retirement of two valued insurance agents, Jim and Tom Harty, who will be stepping down after their combined 88 years of dedicated service. Their contributions have greatly shaped the agency’s success and built lasting relationships within the community.
Jim Harty, who joined Uinsurance (formerly known as Harty Insurance) in 1980, has been a cornerstone of the agency, known for his exceptional service and unwavering commitment to clients. Similarly, Tom Harty, with 43 years at the agency, has also left an indelible mark with his expertise and client-first approach.
As part of this transition, we are pleased to announce the promotion of Michelle Weatherly to Agency Manager. She has been with Uinsurance for 17 years and has consistently demonstrated strong leadership and a deep commitment to our clients and community. In her new role, Weatherly will oversee daily operations, ensuring the continuation of excellent service and the implementation of new initiatives to further enhance the agency.

A farewell gathering for Jim and Tom Harty will be held on Wednesday, March 26th at Uinsurance from 3 – 5 p.m., where clients, friends and colleagues can join us in celebrating their remarkable careers.
