29 Dec Unison Bank contributes to Linton school playground
As the year ends, we remember our communities and their impact in our lives. Unison Bank recognizes the importance of community and has given back this holiday season to the community of Linton, N.D.
Unison Bank has partnered with Linton Public School to help fund the renovation of its playground.
“At Unison Bank, we are proud of our community bank heritage.” said Unison Bank SVP Market Manager, Greg Bosch. “We find it important to give back and help develop the communities we are in.”
Unison Bank donated $5,000 to Linton Public School so that they are closer to making the $600,000 estimated project cost. As of December 28th, 2023, Linton Public School has raised $450,000 towards this goal.
“The partnerships that we have gained through this project have been amazing. The playground efforts have reminded us of the generosity of our families, community and local businesses,” shared, Linton Public School Pre K-6 Principal, Erin Huber. “This project not only benefits the school, but our community and it has been a pleasure to work with businesses like Unison Bank to make this possible for the students.”
The project will include updating of the outside playground equipment, replacing the surface under and around the playground area, as well as building a playground with features that will be accessible to all children. A few of the features hoping to be included are a zipline and poured basketball courts.
Renovations to the playground area are expected to be complete by the start of the 2024-2025 school year.
