Debit cards undergo maintenance on Feb. 1st

Beginning Thursday, February 1st, Unison Bank will be updating its debit card platform. This update may cause debit card users to experience potential denials of their debit card transactions as Point of Sale (P.O.S.) terminals must update first. Each P.O.S. terminal update will vary based on the vendor’s updating schedule.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • On February 1st, P.O.S. terminals begin to update.
  • Debit card transactions may be denied for a period of time.
  • If prompted, customers may run their debit card transaction as a ‘credit’ at the P.O.S. terminal to bypass any transaction denial.
