Anna Brock Named Unison Bank Artist of the Month
JAMESTOWN, N.D. – Unison Bank is proud to recognize Anna Brock, a local ceramics artist and instructor at The Arts Center, as its Artist of the Month. Anna’s handcrafted pottery is now on display in the Jamestown Unison Bank lobby, where customers and community members are invited to stop in, admire her work, and celebrate a talented local artist.
Each month, Unison Bank highlights local artists, photographers, quilters, makers, and creators through its long-running Artist of the Month program. Since 2013, the program has provided artists from across the region with a space to share their talents while helping bring more local art into the community.
Anna’s passion for ceramics began at an early age after watching her mother take a ceramics class. What started as childhood curiosity grew into a lifelong passion after she tried the potter’s wheel in high school and instantly fell in love with the creative process.
Originally from Homer, Alaska, Anna made her way to Jamestown to compete in track and field at the University of Jamestown, where she earned a degree in Environmental Science. Today, she’s become an important part of the local arts community, sharing her passion as a ceramics instructor at The Arts Center.
Whether she’s creating one-of-a-kind mugs or helping someone shape their very first piece of pottery, Anna believes art should be approachable, creative, and fun. Her classes foster a welcoming, hands-on environment where people of all ages can learn new skills, express themselves, and experience the satisfaction of creating something with their own hands.
Visitors to the display will find a variety of ceramic mugs and other functional pottery available for purchase. Prices are marked beneath each item, and anyone interested in learning the art of ceramics or booking a class is encouraged to contact The Arts Center directly.
